Dr. Melanye Maclin-Carroll, M.D. aka “Dr Mac” is a nationally recognized research and development dermatologist since 1999. She has been dedicated to educating cross-racial societies about how critical the proper care, maintenance, and knowledge of hair and skin affects overall wellness throughout every stage of life.

Dr Mac has been featured as a hair and skin expert across multi-media platforms, including: The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Sirius XM, Radio One, WHUR, FOX DC News, the film “Good Hair” (produced by Chris Rock), 50 Cent, Rock Newman TV, Sister 2 Sister magazine and former Medical Director for Hype Hair Magazine™ for 20 years. She to continues various media and contributing to beauty-related publications.

Dr. Mac is the President & CEO of her research and development company, ‘Innovative Hair Technology, Inc. As the U.S. dermatologist pioneer of hair and skin supplements, she developed “BellaNutri” for women and “BeauNutri” for men which have provided consistent and immediate results for adults worldwide for over 20 years.

Dr. Mac lends her hair and skin expertise to celebrities, doctors, and cosmetic companies in development stages of new products. She served as a primary dermatologist in the U.S. launch and brand growth of Viviscal™ hair in 1999 and L’Oreal Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition© brands in 2009.

Dr Mac has expanded her talents into the television world as an Executive Producer and real estate development industry.

A Chicago native and second-generation physician, Dr. Mac earned her undergraduate and medical degrees in Washington, D.C. from Howard University and Howard University School of Medicine respectively, then completed her dermatology residency at Washington Hospital Center. She and her husband, Dr Gary Carroll, live in Maryland and enjoy spending family time as dance parents with their daughters, Cayla and Celina.
